The Clipper Lookout
Help bring lost pieces of Great Lakes history home.
Help Bring History Home
Over the decades, many original artifacts from the Milwaukee Clipper and her predecessor, the Juniata, were removed, sold, misplaced, or scattered into private collections. Some were replaced during renovations, while others simply disappeared as the years passed.
Today, we are working to reconnect those lost pieces of Great Lakes history with the ship they once called home.
Welcome to the Clipper Lookout Program — an ongoing effort to locate and preserve original artifacts from the Milwaukee Clipper and Juniata. Whether you have information about a missing item, remember seeing one years ago, or may even own a piece of the ship’s history, we would love to hear from you.
Our goal is preservation, not judgment. If you currently possess an item connected to the Milwaukee Clipper or Juniata, we are happy to discuss purchasing or arranging the safe return of the artifact — no questions asked.

Preserving the Golden Age of Great Lakes Travel

With your help, we can continue restoring and preserving that legacy for generations to come.
